MESSAGE OF THE PRESIDENT

We are very happy to introduce the first publishing of Africa Observatory.

Turkish African Affairs Council (TAFAC) which aims to be the “window of Turkey opening through Africa” will be publishing Africa Observatory in order to create comprehensive awareness about Africa. Center for African Studies, as part of TAFAC, will be publishing reports about numerous countries, sectoral information and including reports upon investment opportunities in the continent. This initiative also has been constructed to strengthen relations of businesses both located in Turkey and Africa by creating solid bounds in economic and cultural fields.

We are planning to appeal wide range of businesses in African continent and Turkey by publishing Africa Observatory weekly. Therefore, businesspeople, political decision makers, academicians and experts will be able to get benefits from Africa Observatory. Our publishing will also be available for foreign countries besides Turkey and Africa.

Thus, I thank warmly to our publishing committee and hope you to avail of our publications furthermore.
