4,300 Somali Refugees Has Returned to Their Home

UNHCR, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, has reported that since 2017, 4,300 Somali refugees have returned to their homes from Yemen thanks to Assisted Spontaneous Return Programme. UNHCR spokesman Babar Bloch said in a statement, many of those who want to return to their village, while some went to Mogadishu for security matters. The Somali population in Yemen, which is thought to be constituted by about 250,000 people, accounts for 90% of all of the refugee and asylum seeker population in Yemen.
