Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi Re-Elected

The Relimo Party won 73% of the vote and continues its job. Opposition parties questioned the October 15th elections as citing bullying tactics and corruption.

According to an official statement Sunday (October 28th), President Filipe Nyusi was re-elected the president. In a post-victory speech, Nyusi said he would further develop Mozambique and accelerate the implementation of the two-month peace agreement.
