South African celebrity singer Bongekile Simelane known by her stage name Babes Wodumo dropped assault charges against her boyfriend Mampintsha whose real name is Mandla Maphumulo local media reported.
Mampintsha was charged with assault in April after a live video on Instagram showed him hitting his girlfriend known by the name Babes.
The prosecutor’s office told the court that Babes had said she was happy with the mediation and counselling the couple had undertaken, local news reports.
