Heavy Rains Trigger Floods in Ivory Coast

The flood hit alarming highs in the streets of Yaou, a small town in southeastern Côte d’Ivoire.

Since Friday, heavy rains have killed five people and caused considerable damage to properties and businesses.

The economic capital of the country has also been affected by these floods. Traffic east of Abidjan has become difficult as firefighters have redoubled their efforts to rescue the victims.
