MESSAGE OF THE PRESIDENT
This is the 13th issue of the African Observatory. As TAFAC we are committed to publish better content each week. To realize this effort we have decided to publish our issues translated into 2 other languages every two weeks period which will give us some room for making a better summary for you, touching the best news about Africa.
In this issue, we are sharing on overview about Algeria, country’s economical status and numbers of trade.
Also, we give our condolences for the people of Tunisia for the loss of Tunisian President Mr. Beji Caid Essebsi who died at the age of 92 as the oldest president.

Dwelling on Africa: Country Report “Algeria”
Algeria is one of 55 countries of African continent. Algeria is located in Northern Africa, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea in north, Tunisia in northeast, Libya in east, Morocco in west, Western Sahara, Mauritania, and Mali in southwest, and by Niger in the southeast.
Algeria is now Africa's largest country, covering an area of nearly 2.4 million km², compared, it is 4 times the size of France or slightly less than 3.5 times the size of the U.S. state of Texas. But the country is almost only populated in the small coastal region, because its southern part is covered by the Sahara, the largest subtropical hot desert.
