AFRICA OBSERVATORY - ISSUE 17

09 - 23 SEP 2019

MESSAGE OF THE PRESIDENT

We're with you in the 17th issue of the African Observatory.

I would like to say that we are very happy about the malaria vaccine that is being applied in Kenya, which is the headline of this week. More than 300,000 children will be vaccinated and protected from malaria with Ghana and Malawi followed by Kenya. This is very pleasing news. Turkey is also quite interested in works related to the health of adults and children in Africa. Many devoted physicians are working heartily to improve the health of people here with projects like "Yeryuzu Doktorlari”.

Also, I would like to point out to you that we are sorry for the Nigerians who have left their lives due to confusions in South Africa. I hope that these troubles triggered by the economic recession in the country will be solved in a short time and life will return to normal.

Agreements between Uganda and Turkey in our latest title were quite honored us as TAFAC. I hope like these agreements will continue, multiply and all African countries and Turkey establishes productive relationships.

In this week's issue, we have included many important issues to be aware of. I think that we have undertaken a very important and effective task by sharing these current issues with you.

I would like you to share all your suggestions and opinions with us about our publications.

Sincerely,
President of TAFAC

Abdulaziz Unal
